Inspired by Design

Browsing through Freshly Pressed from WordPress, I found a few really cool illustration blogs that have inspired me to try and get back into design and illustration. Like the blog of Andrew Herzog over at Space Time Continuum. I love the simplicity of his illustrations. It’s in line with my own style. One of my favorite things to do on the internet is (aside from porn) to browse through designer, marketing company and advertising agency sites. These sites usually have some of the most inspiring designs…because they have to. They are not only showcasing their work, they are showcasing themselves and what they can do. Fortyseven media is a great example of one of those sites. I really like the look and flow of the site. The graphics, color and over all style just really seem to work. It’s easy to read, easy to look at and most important, easy to navigate. There is a definite style to the site and their work that I like…grungy, old and weathered. “Don’t visit them, if you want average!”
