CORNDOG FLASHER
Years ago before YouTube or social media sharing, there was a magical being by the name of Corndog. He roamed the land spreading love, happiness, torture and mayhem. Oh Corndog, I miss you and your bunny slippers.

Originally it was a PC screen saver way back in 2001, when screen savers where all the rage.

Daily Illustration No. 4 I don’t really care for sushi my self. I’ve tried it several times and it just doesn’t do anything for me. The presentation of sushi on the other hand, is quite beautiful.

Darwin’s Fish Skeleton Created in Adobe Ideas.
Day 5 of my daily illustration series. I did a quick web search for a skeleton version of Darwin’s fish and remarkably, I didn’t find anything. An original idea? I’ll say yes just so I know what its like to feel special. That’s a rare thing in this connected world…the original idea, not the feeling special.

Sunday I was browsing through the Freshly Pressed Section of WordPress when I stumbled onto some really cool illustration sites. One in particular was doing a drawing of the day series. So I thought, hey, that’s a great idea to get back into drawing and get my creative juices flowing. So here I am, with my day one drawing. To be honest, my hand started cramping so it’s a bit unfinished.
Thai Iced Tea Popsicles

I have a sweet tooth and I love Thai iced tea. In fact, I think it’s tragic when I find myself at a Thai restaurant around eight or nine o’clock in the evening, and I know that I won’t be able to sleep if I consume all of that caffeine and sugar (the sugar probably being the worse of the two).
Inspired by Design
Browsing through Freshly Pressed from WordPress, I found a few really cool illustration blogs that have inspired me to try and get back into design and illustration. Like the blog of Andrew Herzog over at Space Time Continuum. I love the simplicity of his illustrations. It’s in line with my own style. You can see my illustration blog over at Scribbles and Dribbles Check it out. You’ll see that I’m not an asshole all the time.

The Drinking Games of the 2012 Summer Olympics
The 2012 London Summer Olympics are less than 3 months away so it’s time to start thinking about what sport will fuel the next Drinking Game. During 2010 we celebrated the Vancouver Winter Olympics with the Canadians by turning Curling into a drinking game that became a runaway success on Twitter. Thanks to those big ol stones and plenty of beer, we fell in love with curling and more importantly the ladies of curling. Read the rest of this entry

Reality My Ass!
The discovery channel has a new show they’ve rolled out (pun intended) called “The Devils Ride.” They’ve marketed it as a “reality” show about an “outlaw” bikers club based in San Diego. First off, I’m from San Diego and San Diego is about as outlaw as Beverly Hills. Second, just a few minutes into the program and the term “reality” seems more like sarcasm than it does a description for this show. It’s obviously scripted. Thirdly, if they are such outlaws, why are they doing a reality show?
